How to Improve Your Oral Health With Simple Ayurvedic Technique

Ayurveda is a holistic system of healing that developed in India approximately 3000-5000 years ago. Oil pulling or oil swishing is a powerful detoxification Ayurvedic technique that is becoming very popular recently as an alternative medicine remedy for many different health ailments.

The person behind reviving this ancient technique is Dr. Karach. He wrote a research paper that documented a healing procedure involving cold-pressed oils. Using this method, many chronic diseases could be cured, preventing the need for surgery or medication. Dr. Karach claims that if we did this simple regimen every day, we could live up to 130-150 years. This claim is supported by many other scientists.

He claims that the following diseases can be effectively cured by the application of oil therapy: headaches, bronchitis, lung and liver diseases, toothache, tooth disease, thrombosis, blood diseases, arthritis, paralysis, eczema, stomach ulcers, intestinal disorders, heart and kidney diseases, nervous conditions and female disorders. The oil therapy is preventive as well as curative.

The exciting factor of this healing method is its simplicity. It consists of swishing cold pressed vegetable oil in the mouth for about 20 minutes. Ayurveda advises oil gargling to cleanse the entire system; because according to this science of life, each section of the tongue is connected to a different organ such as the kidneys, lungs, liver, heart, small intestine, stomach, colon and spine.

Dr. R. Ballantyne, who studied Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, says that the tongue “is an indicator of what is happening in the body.” A fiery red tongue represents irritated digestion; pale shade, low digestion; and a purple tongue, a liver loaded with toxins.

So how can you benefit from this technique and improve your oral health significantly?

First of all I would recommend everyone to try oil pulling and see how it works for you. Here we are talking about a very simple, non-invasive technique that could improve your health. I am pretty sure you will be amazed with results.

In the following paragraphs I will go into the specifics of the method. This is how oil pulling would be done.

To get started, you will need some vegetable oil of your choice. Try to get unrefined and organic oil whenever possible.

Not all vegetable oils are created equal; some oils work better than others in my experience and from many testimonials. Dr. Karach highly recommends the use of sunflower and sesame oil. It could be sesame, sunflower, peanut, walnut, almond, olive, coconut among others. You should experiment with different oils and see which one suits you best.

My personal favorite is sesame oil. I’ve noticed that if you change your oil about every other month, it’s like renewal therapy. It’s hard to explain why, maybe body gets used to that particular EFA formula. Add a drop of peppermint or oregano oil to your oil pulling and you have a powerful anti-bacterial agent. Oregano oil is a powerful natural antibiotic, so it should not be abused.

In the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach take one tablespoon of oil and slowly swish it in the mouth and pull it through the teeth for fifteen to twenty minutes. To speed up recovery, this process can be repeated three times a day, but always before meals, on an empty stomach.

As our digestive juices dilute it, it becomes thin and milky white in color. The oil should not be swallowed as it has become toxic than spitting it out of the mouth into the toilet. If the oil is still yellow and bordering on “oily”, it has not been masticated thoroughly or long enough.

After the oil is removed from the mouth, the oral cavity should be thoroughly rinsed several times. It is preferable to use a cup of hot water to which half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of baking powder have been added. The teeth, gums and tongue should be carefully brushed. It is recommended that salt and soda be applied directly to the brush. After washing, gargle with the warm salt-soda water. Then tilt the cup under the nose and gently sniff the water to clear the nasal passages. Gently blow your nose.

The sink needs to be cleaned because the spit contains harmful bacteria and toxic body waste. Dr. Karach examined the gargled milky white oil under a microscope. He saw living organisms swimming in it. It’s poisonous, so never swallow it, he warns. These poisons are bacteria embryos that, if not removed, cause disease.

This is what Dr. Karach said: “Oil therapy completely cures toothache. Obvious results are refixation of loose teeth, whitening of teeth, stops bleeding gums. One outstanding result of oil pulling is fixing loose teeth, which no dentist can do. . “

For me, oil pulling got rid of a sinus infection, got rid of tooth sensitivity, made teeth whiter and brighter, hardened enamel, improved gums, gave me smoother skin and higher energy throughout the day. Oil pulling therapy is something I will continue to do and I recommend you all try it and see what it does for you!

Basically, in my opinion, oil pulling is one of the best ways to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities. You can do the oil pulling every morning. It can be powerfully detoxifying, so you may want to take a break when you want. First thing in the morning, 15-20 minutes of oil pulling is one of the smartest things you could do for your health.
