Baby Food Jar Craft Ideas
Interested in a baby food jar? There are lots of ideas for recycling those baby food vacs. This would have to be my all time favorite use of those baby food containers. I shared this idea with many of my friends and they also said it was a complete success with their baby. It’s that simple.
- Simply collect each lid from each jar whether it’s a baby food jar or the pasta sauce jar.
- Put them in the dishwasher and sterilize them.
- Then fill a large plastic jar with those lids. I buy my rice in a large plastic jar and this is perfect for collecting lids.
When my baby was less than 7 months old, he loved holding the blankets and squishing them together. He found out that they roll and then he started stacking them. They were perfect for his little hand grip.
At about 7 months he started putting them back one by one in the plastic jar.
Around 11 months he loved turning the plastic jar upside down and trying to flip all the lids over and then of course put them back on.
When he was about 14 months old, he started using the blankets to cook.
Now at 21 months he is still playing with blankets with baby food.
We once borrowed a toy from a friend because Jamie liked playing with it so much at his house. When I asked her if there was a toy that Jamie had that she wanted to borrow, she said “Actually, could I have some of your baby food for blankets”.
The funnest toys are usually free and in our house all the time.
