In the year 1949, EDSAC (Electronic Delay Storage Automatic Calculator) was developed by Maurice. Eckert-Mauchly Company invented UNIVAC (universal automatic computer) in 1951. In 1960, the fastest electronic computer to access the time scale of 1 microsecond and a total capacity of 100,000,000 words was evolved . During the 1970s, the fashion for inexpensive computers made possible by integrated microchips (ICs) and microprocessors. These days using VLSI (very large scale integrated circuits), which are programmed with READ ONLY MEMORY is done. It could handle 32 bits at once, and it could process 4,000,000 instructions at once.
Beyond this level in the history of computing, many advances and changes have occurred, which come from Apple-Microsoft products, to the evolution of microcomputers and a variety of laptop or computer developments that have become a accepted part of our daily life. Without the early steps of computer history, none of this would likely seem possible.
