Myth #2 Iguanas can’t get too big for their cages

Some people have the belief that if they keep their iguana in a small cage or an aquarium, then this stunts its growth. So they find the smallest enclosure possible with the belief that they will have a pocket animal for their entire life. Of course, this is not true. An iguana will grow throughout its life, at a young age it will grow faster, and as it grows older it will grow much more slowly, but it will still grow. If you keep an iguana in a cage or an enclosure that is too small for him, then you invite stress and apathy.
