New Year Holiday Resolutions – How to Make Them Work – Mrs Claus Tips For Investing in Your Goals!

We all want to manifest the goals we set for the new year, but four out of five people never do. So here are my top tips for continuing to invest in yourself to give your goals and resolutions the fuel they need to manifest:

1. Don’t choose a goal that you think you should do because of external influences (such as family or peer pressure or a new trend) choose a goal that inspires you and you feel passionate about.

2. Be specific about your intentions. It is not good to be vague about what you want, because this will lead to nothing. Being specific with measurable steps and intentions for your life with a plan that concludes with the final result will give you steps to work on what you need to put into action every day. Without specific planning and measurable intentions you are still in dream mode. The dream is good but you are human so you need to go to the next step or little to nothing will happen. You must have a necessary action plan.

Here’s an example: for prosperity don’t say “I’ll make more money this year” it’s not specific enough. Say “I’ll make 200 extra a week for the next 12 months.” Then you should write down how to achieve this step by step for each day, week and month with a time frame so that your goal can be measurable and fine tuned as you go. This will also keep you motivated with a challenge to aspire to each day.

Another example may be to develop a deeper and more loving relationship with your children. “I will spend 20 minutes every second day with one of my children with total emphasis and commitment to doing an activity, reading to them or talking about their life only with them and without distractions.” This is a great goal and achievable if you diarize in advance with your children, so this activity is expected and will be expected. Imagine developing love and heart connection with your children. The feelings will shine through you who recognize them, love and cherish them. This is transformation.

3. Decide to eliminate “attention deficit disorder” from your intentions and goals. It’s so easy to get distracted in this fast-paced modern world. Choose to be aware of the moment this coming year and you will witness a surprising transformation in your life.

4. Celebrate every victory along the way, no matter how small the victory you need to acknowledge, that you are progressing and give a pat on the back. For example today I exercised by walking to the shops instead of taking my car. I chose fresh fruit instead of a cake. These are all small steps that add up to the success of a massive goal, such as weight loss and health. Never underestimate any decision you make – it is powerful. Always ask yourself if this choice brings me closer to my goal or further away. You are always in control. It is your choice and you are constantly creating more than you choose. If you find yourself constantly falling back into old habits, you need to strengthen your reasons for your intentions. This is where a personal coach or reading books like “The Passion Test” can be a great start.

5. Be grateful. Gratitude is one of the most powerful magnetic forces in the universe. This is absolutely true. How do you say Well, every time you are grateful starting from the smallest of things, like even the light switch that brings the light in your room so you can read at night, do your favorite job, eat in a while later in the evening etc. miracles around you and amazing goals and intentions that others have set and brought to fruition. Gratefully recognize these things in your life like that light switch. Someone had to dream it, someone else invented it, someone else did it, while others had to promote and sell it. So many people involved in so many incredible ways just in your home every day. Gratitude takes you out of your head space into a place where your energy and mood can be elevated.

Gratitude leads to recognition which leads to appreciation of the other. We are not isolated and alone. We experience the dreams and intentions of others around us every day when we choose to practice gratitude. This is really a great way to improve your attitude and your feelings which will give you more energy and more enthusiasm for life and will help fuel your goals and intentions.

6. Remember to act every day from the result of your goal. A great way to do this is to visualize the end result. You can do this in your head or get a vision board and put images and words that correspond to the end result that you can see every day. The idea is to remember how someone who has achieved this goal, such as being at my ideal weight, made choices during the day. Do they eat cake for morning tea or fruit?
