Boobala Darling’s Long Awaited Proposal. Part 3 Of 3 – A Short Story

The Captain’s night has finally arrived. Will Boobala finally have her dance with the Captain? Will their dreams come true? Will Irving propose and accept his proposal if he does? There’s only one way to find out, by reading this, the final piece of Bobbala’s 3-part cruise story.

CAPTAIN’S NIGHT

Boobala looked lovely in her diamond earrings and necklace. He was glad that she had not put on weight, since she had a habit of walking after eating. She wore a silk wrap that complemented her sleeveless black formal evening gown. She was positively relieved, as her underwired bra brought out the fullness of her breasts. He also wore gloves to the opera. Thanks to Myrtle’s encouragement and persistence, she had improved her entire wardrobe. She used all the money she saved for years from every paycheck, bought a complete make-over and bought flattering clothes just for this cruise. The look worked. Boobala’s eyes lit up when he saw Irving wearing a classic tuxedo tail, featuring a fine suit, pique shirt and tie. He had also lost the quad dog, which made him look very charming.

At the same moment, the Master of Ceremonies reaches the microphone from the piano and announces the star of the Night Club Event. “Let’s give a round of applause to our internationally known star, ZABRINAAAAA…” Zabrina suddenly appeared on the stage, her big eyes contrasting wonderfully with her short straight dark brown hair. She is dressed in a black, slinky, sequined dress with a side slit, black work gloves and a black sequined beret. Between her fingers is a long elegant cigarette that she brings to her lips. A boa of ostrich feathers is wrapped around his neck. Then, after a very long breath, he exhales slowly while speaking in a deep foreign voice. “Zank you, zank you all, you wonderful peoples. Such pleasure that geeve me. I feel so loved. Let me make love tonight with my music.” She turned to the Captain and blew him a kiss. The Captain’s ears turn red as Zabrina directs her full attention to him throughout the show. Her body sways with the song in a sensual way as she casually grinds her body against Captain Reginald. It was obvious to all present, either this was part of her act or she was making a play for Captain Reginald.

Meanwhile, Irving, feeling amorous, has his arm around Boobala throughout Zabrina’s performance. Boobala tries her best to hide her disappointment. He did not dance with the captain. She spent money on her dance lessons in preparation for this cruise. She refused to be a wallflower this time. Irving, sensing his disappointment, finally decides that this is his chance to propose, it was now or never. He stands up and bows to Boobala, holding out his hand for her to join him in a slow dance. Surprised, since he did not have his quad dog, that he could dance, she happily accepts his invitation. She stood up from her seat and placed her gloved hand in his. They walk to the center of the ballroom where the other dancers are gathered. Boobala is amazed at how well Irving can dance, as if he were a professional. It felt so good to have him in his arms. She loved having this man’s body so close to hers. She couldn’t believe this was happening, as far as she knew, she and Irving were the only ones dancing to the music. Irving couldn’t wait any longer and decided to propose.

They will reside in their Park Avenue Suite in Manhattan. “Nothing but the best for my Boobala,” says Irving. Just tell me what you want and I’ll get it for you, my princess. ” Boobala finally felt like a young bride, at the age of 45.
