Bombay artist
A teenage girl turns the pages,
the artist’s book lies in front of her,
to see something
she had never seen before
with open mouth
eyes cleared, silent posture,
a display of masterful strokes
every new dawn;
the lion yawns, the cubs sleep,
grassy lawn,
summer dawn
colorful winters, brilliant autumns,
snow white winters
mountains higher than the sky;
bright as the sun, white
to the golden light
inspired patterns, hot day
warm lunar nights;
stars painted in white tip,
the artist’s touch of light,
point of the Indian sky
before the strokes of her brush;
the grass below
such a pure and magnificent, quiet silence;
each new night sun, soft moonlight,
year’s work, tomorrow night
lay stretched out in eternity;
turning purple red
of white cloth,
dots are white, in a blue, icy sky,
rises in Indian nursery rhymes,
without noise;
her loving hand gently reaches out
touch and draw
a modest reflection
her love that day
that she hopes can make a mark
a peaceful, beautiful, enchanted face
the brush is wet
round dishes, colored paints
visual colored fog, near Bombay,
as the guru staggered
but no one listened
they were moving along the road
they saw such miracles almost every day;
the painter’s brush found its way
a musical symphony of colors
carefully invested;
plans were made ideas, ideas
between the temples
the mind of the artist’s head,

mother’s love, peace,
