Devil May Cry V Massive Leak
Devil May Cry V has been leaked. Hack ‘n’ slash game by Capcom Devil May Cry has been a popular game since our childhood. It first appeared on the Ps2, which was a success that led to it becoming a franchise. The last Devil May Cry game was Devil May Cry 4 which was released in 2008 and the DMC reboot was made in 2013.
Since then, there has been no solid news about a new Devil May Cry V title, except for DMC4 SE and DMC definitive edition, which are a reboot of DMC4 SE and the DMC game. Fans have been waiting for something from Devil May Cry franchise director Hideaki Itsuno to announce the new game, but there has been no news. He tweeted about his new game running smoothly, which might be DMC 5, but no proof.
A huge Devil May Cry V leak recently surfaced, with possible details on the new Devil May Cry game, its story, characters, development, and more. The leak was posted by a ResetEra user named Son of Sparda, who said he would accept a permanent ban if the leak turned out to be fake.
Date of issue and production
The game should be released sometime in FY2019, which means between 2018 and 2019.
Devil May Cry V was originally scheduled to be announced at Sony’s PSX event on December 8, but after receiving feedback, Sony will announce the new game at E3 2018.
There will be a demo version of the game that you can play before the game is released.
This will be the longest development time for a DMC game, which is around 5 years. The development of the game goes smoothly to avoid errors.
This time around, Sony is paying for some of the funding that could make the title exclusive to the PS4 for a short period of time. It could be ps4 exclusive, console exclusive or timed exclusive.
This time around, the DMC V title is said to be “ambitious” with a wider appeal.
DMC V will feature the longest cutscene of any DMC game.
The trailer has been ready for some time. The opening trailer is 1 minute 50 seconds long. The trailer mainly focuses on the story, characters and gameplay. The city-like setting shown in the trailer is very similar to the city of Fortuna in DMC4.
Development team
Itsunos, the team behind the previous DMC games, is also making this new game.
Yuji Shimamura returns as cutscenes director, having worked on cutscenes for DMC3, 4 and Bayonetta.
The voice actor for Dante is Reuben Langdon, Johnny Young Bosch for Nero, and Dan Southworth for Virgil.
Onyay Pheori assists with the soundtrack.
About the actresses who played Trish and Lady, it is not known if they will return or not.
Characters and story
DMCV picks up the story from where DMC 4 left off.
More than one player can play Dante and Nero and the third character is unknown, but it will be Virgil. At the moment, up to 3 playable characters are offered.
Trish has an important role in DMC5, but it is unknown whether she is playable or not.
Switch characters during key plot points in the game.
The “Prince of Darkness” appears in the game as the main antagonist of the story.
No word on whether or not Virgil is playable.
DMC5 could be the end of the “Son of Sparda” storyline.
GAMEPLAY
The console is rated at 60 frames per second, just like previous DMC games.
There is no stamina bar.
There will be some areas where you will encounter more enemies than you are used to in DMC games.
Missions and ranking systems are similar to previous DMC games. Bosses increase dramatically in DMCV. One of the boss fights moves between several areas of the game.
The camera pans out during major fights. The developers are really proud of the new dynamic camera system.
There is some online integration, but no multiplayer PVP.
The dodge system has been redesigned, and overall, dodging should be a lot smoother than before.
Enemies will react differently depending on the style.
The game has some dynamic environment destruction/transformation, but not yet on the scale of Dmc.
The level design and exploration in Devil May Cry is similar to Bayonetta with action elements included, but without the QTE or quick time event. QTEs are generally non-existent in DMC games.
The animation is improved to be less violent.
Although Devil May Cry V will not be an open world game, some inspiration was taken from Dragon’s Dogma.
So the guys are taking this information with a grain of salt because there is no original message from CAPCOM. But the announcement will be at E3 2018. So let’s hope it’s true.
