New Year, New You – Part I

January 1 will not be soon. The day will pass just like any other day. December 31 at 11:59 an important fact remains unchanged: TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE. What happens throughout the year that you keep making the same New Year’s resolutions every year? What would happen if you finally kept that same New Year’s resolution and actually lost weight? You could move forward with another important resolution. My goal for you and every reader is for you to exceed your healthy lifestyle goals. How do we do this?

An emotional eater consumes food to replace the void that needs to be filled. Emotions can range from feelings of loneliness, boredom, avoidance, stress, confrontation, rejection, abandonment, or anxiety. The key to controlling why you eat is to identify why you are an emotional eater. In order to determine why you can eat to cope with emotions, we will list the typical problems that we sometimes use food to solve these emotions.

STEP 1. YOU MUST BE DELIVERED.

For me, my liberation was to give everything in my life to God. I’m tired of trying to be aggressive in my career and dating. Yes, I am still single and patiently waiting on the Lord. Thoughts and words are very powerful. There is a saying that I hate hearing parents say about their children. It sounds cute, but it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. Have you ever heard someone turn to a child and say, “He’s so BAD!”? From the time a child begins to understand, and children are much smarter than we think, he continues to hear his mother say these words. So if a child between the ages of 5 and 16 continues to hear “He’s so BAD” for 9 years. If he really is a wonderful child who has been conditioned by his mother or father to be bad.

When he starts fighting and ends up in detention or prison, we wonder what happened? That’s what happened. He heard “HE’S SO BAD” for 9 years that he decided that I. STEP 2: DESIRE

Many people set goals but lack the will to do the work. Losing weight and adopting a healthy lifestyle isn’t just about how you look. It’s about how you feel. It’s about the work ethic it instills in you to achieve your fitness goals, as well as any other goals you may have for yourself. If you don’t have the will to work hard and meet your weekly fitness goals, continue with your old habits. Because working out and losing weight should be a desire to change your life.

STEP 3: DECISION

Make a resolution that this is the last time you fall short of your fitness goals. If you’re falling short of your fitness goals, ask yourself what other goals you’ve set for yourself that aren’t reaching. I guarantee that if your health and fitness goals are not being met, there are other areas of your life that are suffering as well. Make a decision to move forward towards your goal. Decide to set realistic fitness goals. 2 pounds a week is a realistic goal. It may not seem like much, but add those 2 pounds a week and you’ll lose 8 pounds a month.
