Elsa’s life has been documented in many books and films, bringing her worldwide recognition and fame. When she was three years old, she brought her three cubs to show the Adamsons. It was an emotional moment as the Adamson family hugged and hugged Elsa and her litter. The cubs were named little Elsa, Gopa and Jespo. The four later returned to the wild, but they kept in touch with the Adamsons. Elsa’s life was cut short when she was just five years old when she contracted babesiosis, a blood disease that mainly affects the feline family. Her remains were buried in Meru National Park.
