Creating a Pup Persona in Human Pup Play

A persona is your face, what people see when you express yourself. In the everyday world, we present different appearances to people depending on the circumstances in which we find ourselves. We have a job, sexuality, a friend and even a child. We are rarely completely open and fully exposed to anyone. Early in life, as humans, we learn to form expressions to get what we want and to get along socially with others. As a puppy, you will adapt to create a personality to fit in as a puppy. It is natural to withhold a part of yourself from others in order to be private. That way, when you come to play with human puppies, it’s easy to keep that fascination private.

As a human, you have had decades to create yourself, in fact to create multiple selves. This experience makes it much easier than you might think at first to create an “I’m a puppy”, something that shows what you want.

Imagine it’s a dog inside you. You, the person, always hold this dog in your arms. At this stage, you certainly cannot express your childish self in a way that does not involve your humanity. So imagine yourself cradling that young dog, that is your puppy, like a puppy in your arms.

Hold the puppy up and let him rest on your shoulder so he’s facing back while you, the human, look away and don’t talk. This is how the two of you should be forged at this early stage.

You control and protect your puppy yourself as you learn and experience playing with the puppies, while you as the male stand back and let him watch and explore. Imagine loving and caring for your puppy.

You will, of course, need to choose a name for your puppy. The name of your puppy is chosen jointly by you and the owner. It’s important to have a distinct name that resonates with both of us emotionally. But a name alone is not enough to shape a puppy. You have to visualize the emerging personality, the puppy you are holding in your arms.

Every puppy is different, and to realize your individual puppy self, we need to borrow an idea from the ancient Romans. They believed that everyone has a “genius” – no, not what it means now in our modern world, but rather the original definition. To the ancient Romans, your genius was a personal guardian spirit that watches over your destiny and helps shape your distinctive individuality. So when you visualize your puppy, you can move on to seeing him as your own guardian spirit, your Genius. And he wants you to be his unique puppy!

This act of creating a unique puppy is a creative endeavor, and the benefit of being a creative puppy is that it helps you as a person too; your genius guides you to feel fulfilled, accomplished, and meaningful in your life. Therefore, following the spirit of your Genius puppy is very important! At this point, it is very important for you to recognize that the spirit of genius is your creative construct. It may have a spiritual dimension to you, but it’s not necessarily childish and it’s your personal choice. Creative visualization is the main action, the main thing to focus on.

Interacting with your genius pup begins with creativity and expression of your own unique spirit. All the following actions and exercises should be performed at the same time. No, not literally all at once. Instead of just doing one of the exercises, doing it, and moving on to the next one, you need to do some exercises, work on another one, and do all the activities before you do any of them. There’s a good reason for this – your brain works better when you’re creative this way, because your internal chatter in your head (those pesky human thoughts) will serve as cross-talk and actually be helpful. You can take ideas from one activity and see how they can fit into another. This is what makes you smarter than a turtle, and you should use it, not avoid it. Also, it is important to do these exercises and activities alone. Do not seek help from anyone other than your coach. Your genius is a guide to help you, not someone else’s spirit.

There are some steps that need to be taken to help build your Puppy Persona, but not in any particular order, but all at once.

Lyrics

Make yourself comfortable and sit with a notebook or notebook. Compose, that is, write a poem about yourself. If you don’t like poetry, write a song. Anyone can write a song – we used to do it when we were kids. If you find that you’re not that lyrical, then find a song or poem that you feel as connected to as your puppy. Rewrite it, changing the words to make this poem or song an expression of your own unique puppy.

A picture

Draw a picture of your puppy. This may be the ideal of what you envision your puppy to be. It doesn’t have to be photorealistic style of you in your baby gear. It should be a vision of what you ideally look like if you could magically make it happen. If you’re not an artist, find a furry (anthropomorphic) painting that you really like and identify with. Repaint it, reshape it with Photoshop or another graphics editing program until you feel it looks at least somewhat like you.

Words

Once again, sit back and make yourself more comfortable by grabbing a notebook or keyboard. Write a short story about or about your puppy. You can do this as a series of journal or journal entries, telling about your fictional day as you are a puppy. Or you can write it as a novel, with a story. Here’s a prerequisite to help you do that:

Imagine your puppy decides to go on an adventure. Imagine how you prepare, what he takes with him, how he travels, if he has company on the adventure, and any other details that will make the scene come alive. Then answer some questions to continue the story.

1: What does your puppy leave behind? Partner? Boring job? Busy life? Family? A crime?

2: What are the main emotions your puppy experiences during the adventure? Excitement? Fear? Anger? Relief? Indifference?

3: Your puppy notices a hitchhiker who doesn’t look threatening. Are you… Running past and hitchhiking Slowing down but deciding not to stop? Stop, look, then decide? Pick up a hitchhiker and have fun with him? Pick up a hitchhiker and carefully fight him?

4: Your pup then arrives in a country town and is invited to drink with a group of rough local guys, including the town cop. Do you… nervously say no and get out of there as fast as you can? Reluctant to say? Do you have to act to leave? Reluctant to say so? Say yes with enthusiasm?

5: At a bus stop, you strike up a conversation with another puppy who, it turns out, is also on the way. Are you… Slipping away without saying goodbye? Wary of ending the conversation and then going your separate ways? End the conversation reluctantly and then go your separate ways? Invite yourself to the adventures of other puppies? Invite another puppy to join you?

6: How did your road trip end? Do you go home richer and wiser? Do you come home defeated and exhausted? Are you moving somewhere and starting a new life? Do you come somewhere and repeat the old way? Have you come somewhere, but only to stop before your next adventure?

Pup Play should be fun and enjoyable, but it can be more than just a sexual fetish. It can also be a creative outlet for self-expression.
