Look around at the people you interact with. They are constantly learning and exploring new ideas, expanding their minds and keeping up with new technologies. They strive to make a positive impact on the people around them, or they are filled with endless sarcasm and belittling of anyone who tries to make a difference.

I remember a story about an old man and a boy who were walking along the beach early in the morning. the tide receded and there were many young starfish left on the shore that would die as soon as the sun got high enough and hot enough to dry them out. The boy was tossing a small starfish back into the ocean as they walked along the beach, and at one point the old man said, “I know you’re trying to help, but look ahead, down the beach, there are hundreds, maybe thousands, that have been dumped on shore It doesn’t make much of a difference what you do.” The boy looked at him as he tossed another one back into the ocean and said, “I made a difference with that,” and he smiled and continued.

You see yourself with people who think that change is too hard and that it will never get better, or you surround yourself with people who have childish eyes and think that anything is possible.

Jesus said; “I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

It takes faith to believe in what we cannot see. Have faith and look for people who want to make a difference, and you’ll be surprised how you too can make a difference.
